The 2023-24 season Begins

We have lots more in store after our first successful Coast to Coast ride from Dakar to Cape Town
When we first put our Coast to Coast trip online we had no idea whether anyone would be crazy enough to sign up. But five people turned up in Senegal, ready for the adventure of a lifetime. The trip took longer than expected, and there were plenty of hiccups along the way (we tend to say nothing ever goes wrong on an SWA trip, things just might not go to plan), but 15 countries and over 14,000 kilometers later, our inaugural trip made it to Cape Town, riders and scooters intact and enough stories to fill a bookshelf. Next up: the 2024 edition! But well before that, we will be running a full schedule of riding and non-riding tours around West Africa starting this November in Mauritania and Senegal. Scooter Trips

The bikes are easy to ride and operate. They are not particularly fast, and that’s the point. 

Imagine feeling the breeze on your skin. Seeing birds flying overhead and monkeys darting across the road. Imagine being able to stop wherever and whenever you want for a photo, or to strike up a conversation with a local. The bikes give you the freedom to travel at your own pace. We offer multi-country scooter trips of varying lengths, from three days to ten weeks.
